Long Time Gone

I know...I know.... I've officially fallen off the face of the planet. Guess those 14th century scientists were right..and the world really is flat.

Actually I have just been in limbo of work and moving to my new apartment. Well mine and Brett's new apartment. And that has been fun. Every has to come down and stay here now.

But let's talk about how cool it feels to go to a laundro-mat to do your laundry. I mean we don't have a washing machine here in the apartment so I set out one day to be Mr. City Rat and go find a laundro-mat and I would do my laundry. You know...whites in one washing machine and colors in another....get it done. Be efficient. Just like all the cool people who live in the city on movies. So went through the task of finding a rinky-dink one with about seven washers. (Little did I know there was one in my apartmetn complex) Well about the time i get my first load in a group of 6 people walked in and took the rest off the washers. So....long story short. I got my laundry done in about 2 hours and got a lot of bible reading done. Then drove back in my complex and saw the laundro-mat i have not 3 doors down.
Gotta love it.

It's been long enough

Well I guess we have prolonged the posting absence long enough. If Adam isn't going to do it I will. Let's see where to begin. Harmony Highlands was awesome minus the dr*** ya'll can finish the rest. I don't have any pictures because I used a disposable camera instead of my digital and we are lacking a scanner. We saw Superman Returns which is an great movie but I would not recomend seeing the 10:20 showing unless you like arriving home at 2:00 a.m. but it was totally worth it. I went rafting for first time but it was awesome. And it helped that most of the people I went with had been many times before and we had Captain Lee on our raft so there was no trouble going down the Nantahala. I only fell out of the boat once and I am very glad that I did not go in the water by means of being tackled by Emily (Poor Jim). I also do not have any pictures from that adventure to post because of the same reason. And this weekend the ZRPB's will be attending Five Mile's anuual meeting (which i am looking forward to). I hope to see some of you there and I might be able to attend the Memphis meeting. Well I hope everyone else is having a good summer and I will try to figure out a way to get some pictures on here.

Well everyone else was doing it

You Have A Type B+ Personality

You're a pro at going with the flow
You love to kick back and take in everything life has to offer
A total joy to be around, people crave your stability.

While you're totally laid back, you can have bouts of hyperactivity.
Get into a project you love, and you won't stop until it's done
You're passionate - just selective about your passions
"Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
the blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and of the half-light
I would spread the cloths under your feet:

But I being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams."

Simple Home Remedies

Things that everyone needs to know.
(Disclaimer: Do NOT TRY ANY OF THESE THINGS. FOR COMICAL VALUE ONLY! I cannot be sued for anything you do on this list becuase if you do them you are too STUPID to sue.)

1. If you are choking on an ice cube, don't panic. Simply pour a cup of boiling water down your throat and presto. The blockage will be almost instantly removed.

2. Clumsy? Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting somone else to hold them while you chop away.

3. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by simply using the sink.

4. For high blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a few minutes, thus reducing the pressure in your veins. Remember to use a timer.

5. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from rolling over and going back to sleep after you hit the snooze button. (Sadly I thought this was a very good idea for me)

6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you will be afraid to cough. (My all time favorite.)

7. Have a bad toothache? Smash your thumb with a hammer and you will forget about the toothache.

Sometimes we just need to remember what the rules of life really are:

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40
IF it shoudn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Going to State!!!

So as most of you probably know, I am on the varsity softball team at Corner High School. Well today we won the 2nd round of the playoffs and are one our way to the state finals in Montgomery. I am so excited!!! We have done very well this year. Unfortunatley towards the end of the game today one of our players dislocated her patella for the 3rd time so please pray for her and also pray that no one else is injured this week. Well I hope everyone else is having a good start to there summer. I have 7 days left of school and I can hardly wait. Only one month and 5 days until Harmony Highlands!!! Hope to see everyone there.

Revealed

So if you didn't already know the Boobah has been revealed. Yes it is my brother Daniel. I have to admit that I was in on the prank when I wrote my last post. I just couldn't help myself. Hope everyone got a laugh out of it. You can read more at Boobah headquarters if you would like to.

Who is he?

Does anyone know who the Boobah Commander is? He has just posted again on the Kitchen Talk blog. It is really starting to puzzle me. What loser would just start posting on random people's blogs. I mean really if you think you are funny you're not. You're just getting on our nerves. So just stop messing with us. And for anyone who doesn't know what I am talking about just go and read the comments on Adam's "Early Morning Poetry" post.

For Narnia! And For Aslan!

Yall knew this day would come....
The day when The Chronicles of Narnia would come out on DVD and I would go all fanatical and write a bunch of stuff about it.

So just for starters I love this movie and have already watched it twice....Yes..I said it Twice in one day. And can I just say that I get choaked up, nay even cry nearly everytime Aslan does his gracious and benevolent acts. Mainly because it reminds me and convicts me very much of the great cost Jesus had to pay for us. Us who betrayed Him. Great to finally have a movie out of Hollywood that conivcts you in a good way and not in a "man I feel dirty after seeing that" way.

Ok on to my next agenda....everyone go out and buy the movie then come up with your own coat of arms and we will adapt our blog names into names given to "The Knights of the Militant Israel"

So For Israel! And for Jehovah!

Yoohoo and Gunpowder

This afternoon after church some of the Sons of Zion gathered at our happy hunting ground (aka "The Farm") to do a little bonding with nature. And by bonding with nature I mean shooting stuff with shotguns. Very fun.
Me, Cal-El, his brother, Islamabad and his little brother, 2 people who I don't have cool names for, and a new addition from The Church set on the Hills who named himself inadvertantly, The Red Dragon Knight of the PB's.
So we all set out on our adventure to shoot the enemy, which were clay pigeons, or skeets depending on where you live. Quickly we realized that this was no fun since only one person, Cal-el's little brother, was able to hit them. Instead we turned to more interesting targets like about 6 glass bottles of YooHoo. Which made excellent targets.
I was the first to shoot the YooHoo and we all cheered with excitment when I squeezed the trigger and watched the glass, wrapper, and yoohoo totally evaporate before our eyes. I mean there was nothign left, except a very distinct smell as you went to where the remains would have been which smelled like Yoohoo and Gunpowder. And a little like hot chocolate. Probably because the speed at which the tiny little bb's were speeding through the glass and milk it heated the milk to hot chocolate consistancy. Thats just a hypothesis though.
Now I know what you are asking.....Where are the pictures?

I am almost ashamed to say that I forgot a camera, and so did everyone else, and so I relied on my ability to paint you a picture using my words. So enjoy, and drink a YooHoo for the hustle & flow.

Peace!

Top O' The Mornin' To Ya'

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I dedicate a post for all my Irish brethren.

A LITTLE BIT OF HEAVEN

Sure, a little bit o' Heaven fell from out of the sky one day
And nestled on the ocean in a spot so far away
And the angels found it, sure it looked so sweet and fair
They said suppose we leave it, for it looks so peaceful there!
So they sprinkled it with star dust, just to make the shamrocks grow

'Tis the only place you'll find them
No matter where you go
Then they dotted it with silver
To make its lakes so grand
And when they had it finished
Sure they called it Ireland!

So everyone kiss the Blarney stone for eloquence and 'aye' have a great St. Patty's Day!

Early Morning Poetry

2:30 AM.....why am I up? Here's a poem that I whipped up while I was waiting to go to bed.

O' New Love!
So fresh and green.
It captures us so unaware,
and holds us warmly in its arms.

I can't escape it's drawing power.
It pulls me in, and leaves me swimming
and dreaming in a thousand stars
All streaming across the sky.

It's a rush.
A sprinters burst of speed,
That sweetly distiles into marathon's melodic pace.

What's the price of such a treasure as this?
Your heart.
Or at least the portion of it you give to the person
In whom's arms you find all of this glorious thing called
"love".

When PB's Go Wild!!!!

Yeah...thats right....When PB's Go WiLd!!!!
Myself, Table of Stone, Towapha, and The Jolly PB Giant all road tripped it down to Orlando this weekend for the Flordia Fellowship Meeting. It was AWESOME!
So here are a few pictures for your enjoyment!

And I thought I would throw this picture in there just in case yall were thinking that all we did was play and never went to church. Here is hard core evidence of us at Winter Garden PBC's new church building (which is very snazzy by the way)

On Cocoa Beach at about 12:30 Am. Thought we would go for a little beach trip after the awesome saturday night service.

Don't Panic!

Interesting title huh?
Good one though. I use it because I am watching "The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy" for the second time. It's pretty hilarious. It's very british which gives it that extra kick of comedy. (British accents seem to do that.) Anyway, I use the phrase Don't Panic becuase it is one of the first reason why the Hitchiker's Guide became a best seller (in the movies world) because it had that printed in large print on the back.

And hopefully, with the assistance of the Improbability Drive, I will be able to get like 20 comments on this movie/book.

Come on people, watch the movie, or read the book which is what I am going to, with a little assitance from Laura, my personal librarian.

Peace out, and Don't Forget Your Towel!

The Little Engine that Could

Oh yes.....I went mud riding.

In my super, duper, Ford Ranger.

Think it couldn't handle it?

But it did....And I only got stuck twice. One was not my fault.

It was sooo much fun. Me, Reya, Islamabad, the Jolly PB Giant, Islamabad's little brother, and Cal-el little brother (both of whom I need to come up with names for) we all went out muddin' and shooting potato guns...which are very VERY fun.

Good to get out and play every now and then.

An Ode to my Shoes

"My shoes! My SHOES!
What Glorious shoes!
Their style,
Their flair,
I could wear them ANYWHERE!"

"I know that you're jealous.
It's ok..it's true.
But never fret, for you can have a pair too!

Oh what an idea! Would you like to try them?
It's ok, I am happy to share.
Go right ahead...slip them on.
No, that's right, no strings to tie.
Just slip them on, you're ready to go.

So start witht he left foot,
The right if you choose.
Put on the next one, that's how this goes.
Now, you're ready to go!
Stand up, give them a try!
Wiggle your toes, rock on your soles.
Don't they feel great!?!
Now take a step to and fro.

Can you feel as you walk,
As light as a feather.
Go down the hall, and up those stairs.
Amazing! Arn't THEY!?!
They almost massage your feet.
They surround your feet, yet you have room to breath!

Wait....what's this?

You've SCUFFED MY SHOES?!?
How DARE YOU! How dare you SCUFF MY SHOES!
I'll smash you, I'll bash you...I'LL SCUFF YOU!

Oh my shoes, my shoes, did he hurt you?
Don't worry he's gone. He's scurried away.
I'll take care of you, I'll polish your wounds,
In no time flat, you'll be good as new.
I love you my shoes, we never will part.
Good night my shoes,
Oh wait.....Are you afraid of the dark?

Look What I can do!

So I have a problem...
Everytime I go to Wal-Mart I want to buy these little felt
pictures that are black and white and you color all the white
with markers... And they are in these cool designs
and they come in almost anything.

I have a problem...and admitting it is the biggest step

But look how cool these are! I colored all of these....

And I threw this blurry pic in because...Look at how long my
hair was!!! Crazy huh?
